How to Use Facebook to Recruit Online Survey Respondents

I have to admit something to you — I’ve been avoiding blind brand surveys because it often requires a huge expense in finding a good list.  But no more!

You already know that Facebook is now the biggest repository of demographic and psycho graphic information on the web.  And right now, marketers are having more fun than ever figuring out ways to harness all this information.

Had you ever thought about using Facebook to recruit respondents for your next survey?  I can tell you that I hadn’t.  Whenever I think about doing a survey, I think of collecting customer information — and that’s often confidential.  But there are so many other kinds of surveys that we could be doing – but hadn’t because it was cost prohibitive.

Now you can create a “viral” survey; maybe a measuring brand awareness or doing a poll?  Just think about all the possibilities!  And the best way to take your survey “viral” is to use the Facebook Feature.

Not every survey software offers it — but QuestionPro does.  Here’s a wonderful article on how to create a survey and distribute it on Facebook.

Check out Research Access and then come back here and tell us what type of survey you’d like to do.
